About this tool
Compare Two PDF Files made simple.
The comparison reads selectable text locally and reports page-level differences. It does not prove that two visual layouts, scanned images, signatures or annotations are identical; inspect the original pages for those changes.
Common questions
About Compare Two PDF Files.
Can this tool compare two PDF documents?
Yes. It extracts selectable text and highlights additions or removals. It does not certify a document or reliably compare visual formatting and images.
Why is text missing from my comparison?
The PDF may contain scanned images rather than selectable text. Run OCR first; results can still contain recognition errors.
